Hero MotoCorp Launches the All-New Glamour X 125: Segment-First Tech, Futuristic Design, and Superior Performance
After the remarkable success of the Xtreme 125R, Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled the all-new Glamour X 125, a motorcycle set to redefine the 125cc deluxe segment with futuristic styling, advanced technology, and superior riding dynamics.
Carrying forward the legacy of the Glamour brand, which has already earned the trust of over 8 million customers, the Glamour X 125 is designed to appeal to the new-age, aspirational rider seeking innovation, comfort, and performance.
First-in-Segment Features
The Glamour X 125 introduces a host of segment-first and world-first innovations. At the forefront is Low Battery Kick-Startability, powered by Hero’s in-house developed AERA (Advanced Electronic Ride Assist) Tech, ensuring reliability even in low-charge situations.
In addition, the motorcycle debuts Ride-by-Wire technology for precise throttle response, Cruise Control for effortless highway riding, three ride modes (Eco, Road, Power) to adapt to diverse conditions, and a Panic Brake Alert system that automatically signals emergency braking to vehicles behind – setting new safety benchmarks in the 125cc category.
Bold and Premium Styling
With a muscular stance, sharp character lines, and sculpted bodywork, the Glamour X delivers a commanding road presence. The Signature ‘H’ LED lighting package – comprising a powerful LED headlamp, position lights, and a stylish LED tail lamp – enhances both visibility and aesthetics.
A new Multi-Colour LCD cluster with Bluetooth connectivity adds a premium touch, offering Turn-by-Turn navigation, Distance-to-Empty, Gear Position Indicator, and ambient light adjustment. Ergonomic switchgear with hazard light functionality and premium design cues further elevate the overall experience.
Refined Powertrain
At its heart, the Glamour X is powered by Hero’s advanced Sprint-EBT engine (Engine Balancer Technology), delivering 11.4 BHP at 8,250 RPM. The tuned cam profile, optimized gear ratios, and balancer shaft ensure a strong low- and mid-range, coupled with smooth NVH levels for a refined riding experience. The motorcycle also features a distinctive bass-heavy exhaust note, adding to its big-bike character.
Comfort & Practicality
Designed with rider and pillion comfort in mind, the Glamour X features a wide handlebar, improved seat cushioning, and high ground clearance for versatile road conditions. A large pillion seat with a wide grab rail ensures enhanced passenger comfort.
Practicality is built in with an under-seat utility box capable of storing essentials like two smartphones, a toolkit, and a first-aid kit, along with a 2A Type-C USB charger for on-the-go device charging.
