JSW Sarbloh & Tomcar USA Partner to Build ATVs in India

JSW Sarbloh Motors, a subsidiary of JSW Defence Pvt. Ltd. and part of the $24 billion JSW Group, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Tomcar USA, a global leader in high-performance all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The partnership will focus on indigenously manufacturing the Tomcar TX range of tactical mobility platforms in India.

The initiative aligns with India’s push towards self-reliance in defence and homeland security, while also catering to industrial applications that demand extreme off-road capability. Production will take place at JSW Sarbloh’s facility in Chandigarh, with the first locally assembled TX units expected by early 2026. Field trials with the Indian Armed Forces, paramilitary units, and state police are set to begin in the coming months.

Our goal is to deliver world-class mobility platforms with ruggedness, modularity, and reliability tailored to India’s defence and industrial sectors.”

Ram Zarchi, Founder & Principal of Tomcar USA, remarked, “We are honoured to partner with the JSW Group. This alliance will allow us to deliver our proven, mission-grade platforms to India’s armed forces while leveraging JSW’s advanced manufacturing expertise.”

With this joint venture, JSW and Tomcar aim to set new benchmarks in tactical mobility, blending decades of engineering experience with India’s growing industrial capabilities.
