JK Tyre-WIAA Women’s Rally 2025 Flagged Off in Mumbai. 300+ Women Drivers Come Together to Celebrate Empowerment Through Motorsport

The highly anticipated JK Tyre-WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley 2025 roared to life this morning from the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli, Mumbai. Presented by JK Tyre and hosted by the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), the event brought together over 300 spirited women across 100 cars, united by the thrill of motorsport and the celebration of womanhood.
This annual rally, conducted in the Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format, offered an exciting platform for women from all walks of life to come together and drive for a cause. It wasn’t just about precision driving—it was about purpose, empowerment, and solidarity.
The flag-off was graced by actress and model Pooja Batra, Praveen Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer at JK Tyre & Industries, and Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman of WIAA, along with other notable dignitaries.
Participants used the rally as a powerful medium to advocate for road safety, women’s empowerment, sustainability, and campaigns like ‘Save the Soil’ and honouring women traffic officers. The route led participants through several of Mumbai’s iconic landmarks, eventually heading toward Nashik, where a grand celebration and awards ceremony await.
Speaking to the media, Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman of WIAA, shared, “The annual women’s rally is more than a motorsport event—it’s a movement. It aims to influence legislation around women’s rights, champion girl child education, and tackle issues like sexual harassment. Today’s woman is bold, independent, and unstoppable.”
Sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sport Clubs of India (FMSCI), the rally’s TSD format ensures that participants of all experience levels can compete on an even footing. This precision-based challenge tests navigational skills and timing, penalizing deviations from the assigned speeds and route.
With over three decades of motorsport leadership, JK Tyre has consistently empowered women through drives like the Times Women’s Drive, Ladies Power Drive, and the Defence Wives Power Drive, pushing boundaries and creating space for women in motorsport.
