Harley-Davidson Opens New Dealerships in Bengaluru and Kochi, India Network Expands to 22 Outlets
Harley-Davidson has expanded its retail footprint in India with the opening of new full-line dealerships in Kochi, Kerala and Bengaluru, Karnataka, in collaboration with its local partner Hero MotoCorp. With these new facilities, the iconic American motorcycle brand now operates 22 full-line dealerships across India, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the country’s premium motorcycle segment.
The new dealerships will offer the complete Harley-Davidson portfolio available in India, including globally imported CBU motorcycles as well as locally produced models like the Harley-Davidson X440 and the recently introduced Harley-Davidson X440 T. Customers will be able to explore the entire range under one roof, within showrooms designed according to Harley-Davidson’s latest global retail identity.
Both locations will operate as full 3S facilities — Sales, Service and Spares, ensuring a seamless ownership experience. The dealerships will also retail Harley-Davidson Genuine Merchandise and Accessories, while supporting local chapters of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G), the world’s largest factory-sponsored motorcycle club.
Community Rides Mark Dealership Launch
To celebrate the dealership launches, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp are hosting Inaugural Rides, bringing together the brand’s riding community in both cities. The Bengaluru ride took place on 1 March 2026, while Kochi will host its ride on 31 March 2026, highlighting the strong motorcycling culture in both cities.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Avalur, Head – Harley-Davidson Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, said the collaboration between the two brands continues to strengthen Harley-Davidson’s presence in India while building a vibrant and engaged rider community.
He added that Kochi and Bengaluru have long-standing motorcycling cultures, making them ideal locations for expanding Harley-Davidson’s premium dealership network and delivering a world-class retail and aftersales experience.
X440 Drives Harley-Davidson’s Growth in India
Harley-Davidson’s recent expansion has been strongly supported by the market success of the Harley-Davidson X440. Developed under the Harley-Davidson–Hero MotoCorp partnership, the motorcycle has helped attract a broader audience to the brand and expand the Harley riding community in India.
The introduction of the more touring-oriented Harley-Davidson X440 T further enhances the platform’s appeal by offering improved long-distance capability and comfort.
In addition, Harley-Davidson strengthened its premium lineup in India last year with the introduction of the Harley-Davidson Softail 117 cruiser range and the return of exclusive Harley-Davidson CVO models.
Currently, the Harley-Davidson X440 range is sold through 115 Hero Premia dealerships and 22 dedicated Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide. With the addition of the new outlets, the Harley Owners Group will also expand its presence in the country to 33 chapters, further strengthening the brand’s rider community across India.
